M06 parts, building wheels, and a set of shocks. "Minor R/C" stuff.

USGT racing is based on GT bodies, 21.5 motors, 1350g weight limit, and Ride brand rain tires.

..... no mention of the rim there.  Becuase the rim, isn't regulated.  Most people run the pre-mount wheels.  The pre-mount wheels are delicate, and I've probally broken three complete sets of them in my time running USGT.

MST's wheels are rigid, and ... well i'm hoping they're durable.  so I bought four sets of MST wheels, and two sets of Ride treaded rubber.

And glued them to rims.

They're "technically" cheaper than buying sets of USGT wheels.  But only by like $3.  I"m hoping they'll be a lot more durable.

One of the upgrades I've been sold on, over the years, are carbon shock towers.  Heavy hits tend to bend plastic and that "winds up" the shock mount area, then it's returned to the ground without damping.

Look, a plastic shock tower.

Lets.. get that off of there.

Aaah, there we go, a proper, adjustable shock tower on my M06.  The shock tower also brought with it ball ends, and those take a whole lot of slop out of the suspension.  Even when doing just one end.

And here's the other set of shocks.  Which.. ultimately, will end up on the M08.

Stay tuned...
